Catnapp introduced her debut album for Monkeytown Records with first single „Down in the Basement“.

Featured in Episode 3 of the Netflix series Unorthodox.

Capturing the jaw-dropping urge of her live shows as well as further refining her characteristic blend of rap and heavyweight electronic beats, Catnapp also challenged herself with exploring more complex emotions and subjects for the album.

"Down In The Basement" deals with artistic growth and staying true to your roots. You can take the artist out of the underground, but you can not take the underground out of the artist. As she is playing big stages more often now than gritty basement clubs, Catnapp tackles the beautiful contradictions of going your own way.
